WESTBROOK, ME (January 24, 2019) Artel is offering multiple technical presentations at the SLAS2019 International Conference and Exposition in Washington D.C. on February 2-6, aimed at improving overall lab productivity and quality by refining assay optimization. Presentations detail how successful transfer of a manual assay to an automated platform involves understanding how the intended platform and its parameters affect the assay workflow.  As labs look to improve quality and reduce costs, it is also useful to understand the major sources of variability during assay optimization. Controlling variables that affect these processes upfront results in a more streamlined and robust automated assay.

Available presentations include:

A conference short course on Sunday, February 3, “Liquid Handling Essentials,’’ from 8:00am – 4:30pm in Room 152B brings a hands-on approach to providing participants with the skills needed to achieve early success in managing the performance of their liquid handlers and the outcomes of their assays.
