Our commitment to service extends beyond our corporate boundaries and into the community around us. At Artel, we encourage our employees to volunteer for service projects they find personally meaningful. We all share the same commitment to the community where we work and live.
Spotlight on Service - Cancer Community Center
Artel sponsors the Fight Back Festival, a yearly event which raises money for the Cancer Community Center's free programs and services for people who have been touched by cancer.
Artel employees participated in a run, walk or bike event to raise awareness and money for the Center.
Barry Godowsky, Director of Sales at Artel, is an active member on the board of trustees for the Cancer Community Center, and explains, “I support the Center because it provides me a way to work in my community and because the Cancer Community Center is so unique."
Hear what some of the employees had to say:
"My husband and I have participated the past three years and look forward to continuing to do so. Five years ago, my husband's father passed away from cancer and this provides an opportunity to help those living with this disease."
Another employee adds, "having the support and encouragement from Artel to participate in community events like this is one of the many reasons I love working here."
