Developing Industry Quality Standards
With unique liquid handling quality assurance expertise, ARTEL works with laboratory quality agencies around the world to develop international standards for pipette calibration. Dr. Richard Curtis, ARTEL’s Chairman and Director of Technology, was the primary author of ISO 8655-7, which provides guidance on non-gravimetric methods of volume measurement. Dr. George Rodrigues, ARTEL’s Senior Scientific Manager, also contributes to maintenance and revision of pipetting and volume measurement standards for ASTM International.
